I listened to an audio with Glenn Livingstone where he mentioned getting some advice from a successful businessman who told him that his best foot forward was to become unemployable, to get sacked so many times that his only way forward was to concentrate on creating success for himself! A very interesting observation!

If you absolutely had to create success for you and your family, if your very life or the life of your loved ones depended on it, then at least, it wouldn’t be a question of motive! Then it would be a question of what do I do Now, Today that will deliver results.

Working On A Business

currently  have a HUGE set of blinkers permanently attached to your head and your FOCUSED ahem! then understand that you WILL miss opportunity that lies at the periphery of your vision. If your involved in marketing your business ( and you should be ) then doesn’t it make sense to learn about marketing! Whatever Your Business is!

Network Marketing is made up of two distinct words- network & MARKETING. Networking is great and has been done for thousands of years trading ideas and business contacts for mutual benefit. Marketing is where all the action happens. Getting found for your products and services, getting found for your primary business, getting YOUR details in front of targeted consumers is what it’s all about. Competition is fierce and if your to survive and prosper in the new business arena then learning and implementing new skills is the ONLY way to elevate you and your business above the crowd!

Business Voodoo!

Everything is NOT a Scam, Everything is not VOODOO and everything is certainly not all about MINDGAMES. Just because your sponsor, or your upline leaders are not using these new skills does not invalidate their effectiveness.

Chances are that if they are successful they used the successful marketing systems that were in place back in their hey day, when flyers and shop ads actually delivered results. When placing a small inexpensive classified advert actually generated qualified leads that were not a complete waste of time ( and money), when filling your car up, going on belly to belly appointments didn’t cost the earth! ( and waste your valuable time.)

Despite best intentions it’s clear that if your in a ‘successful’ group, if your implementing everything your being taught AND your still not seeing the promised land the blinkers are STILL on. Just do more is the rally cry!

ALL OUT MASSIVE ACTION ( A.O.M.A.)

Working harder and harder not smarter! The training goes something like this:

If your serious about your business then do the following:

Working Hard

• More 3 ft rules
• more flyers
• more shop ads
• contact your ‘warm market’ ( again)
• send a text to everybody in your phone!
• place another newspaper ad
• do at least 10 appointments a week ( and then double it )

Phew! If your attempting this AND you have a full time job your superhuman. I know people who do amazing amounts of work, in fact, its almost unbelievable how they can accomplish the work involved and still stay sane.

For the rest of us that have family, have other commitments, yet still wish to pursue the idea of  a business built from home that will deliver results then consider this.

Good effective marketing that can deliver your message to your market starts with market research! Through good research using tools readily available you will start to understand the market you are operating in. Without understanding your market you can NEVER move to the ultimate position of Market Leader! So just to reiterate:-

Market Research leads to Market Understanding which leads to Market Leadership!

Now, if your roaming about in the desert, and your being told that the promised land is over the horizon, Are you prepared to wait 40 years?

If you intend to use the internet to market your products services or business opportunity then you need quality tools. Everything and I mean everything that has ever and will ever be put onto the internet will be categorized and indexed according to its content.  If your researching your market here is the single best tool I have ever discovered!
